Power of prayer

Okay, here's a bit of back-story. My mom and I have been seeing a couple of Jehovah's Witness ladies over the past few months. Both of us have gone to some of their Kingdom Hall meetings, and we've talked and "studied" the Bible together (I use the term "study" very loosely there, 'cause the way they reason through scripture is full of logical fallacies and holes and grr, it's frustrating!), and I like to think that kwa now we've become good friends. These ladies are very sweet, sincere people and it's been a joy for me to get to know them.

2 Timothy 3:16-17(NIV)
"16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

I thought that it would be a good idea to write down passages and verses in the Bible that are good for doing just what 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says.
