DREAM WALKERS

The silence so breathless and unbroken

Deadened under a wingu of pale and unwelcome grey

Fading into the distance

So far off my wave of sympathy can't reach it

Alone in a distant reality

Predators hide among allies

Underneath a clean and unfaltering surface

Realizing your reality was the dream.
