LTboy picked Glory in the maua, ua kwa Wordsworth (victim's father/Reid 3x19):
What though the radiance that was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight, though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower, we will grieve not, rather find strength in what remains behind.
Wordsworth (victim's father/Reid 3x19 Tabula Rasa)

I have loved to the point of madness, that which is called madness, that which to me is the only sensible way to love.

Setsuna picked Sometimes there are no words, no clever nukuu to neatly sum up what's happened..:
Sometimes there are no words, no clever quotes to neatly sum up what's happened that day. Sometimes you do everything right, everything exactly right, and still you feel like you failed. Did it need to end that way? Could something have been done to prevent the tragedy in the first place? Eighty-nine murders at the pig farm. The deaths of Mason and Lucas Turner and make 91 lives snuffed out. Kelly Shane will go home and try to recover,to reconnect with her family, but she'll never be a child again. William Hightower, who gave his leg for his country, gave the rest of himself to avenge his sister's murder. That makes 93 lives forever altered, not counting family and friends in the small town of Sarnia, Ontario, who thought that monsters didn't exist until they learned that they spent their lives with one. And what about my team? How many more times will they be able to look into the abyss, how many times before they won't ever recover the pieces of themselves that this job takes? (Hotch- 4x26- To Hell...And Back)

First time I think I ever saw Reid totally mystified looking at Emily's 80s school photo.

"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness but of power. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and of unspeakable love."

reidrox picked There is a sacredness in tears..... Washington Irving (Prentiss 5x11):
I loved all of them, particularly Wordsworth's poem, it's definitely worth reading the whole thing. Reid's comment about Emily was hilarious, mostly because it showed just how pitifully young and innocent he is. I always thought Hotch's speech at the end of "To Hell and Back" was very powerful and moving, and I too, have "loved to the point of madness". There's just something special about Irving's quote though, but I'm not really sure what it is, there's just something about it that appeals to me.

I love this quote by Sagan. She's got such a true knowledge of true love! I hope I will love someone like that one day!
