I can say with absolute certainty, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Delena are 100 percent ON this season. They. Are. HAPPENING. I always believed they were before, and I believe it even zaidi now that I've watched their scenes in 3x02. To anybody who's seriously doubted whether Delena will ever happen, all I have to say to them is: do wewe believe me now??
3x02 was a huge, amazing, epic episode for Delena. It surpasses every episode they've had except for maybe 2x08, 2x22 and 1x19.
Damon agrees to help Elena even though it could bring him into a potentially life-threatening situation. I can't see Damon doing this for anyone else except Elena and Stefan. Damon sees how determined Elena is, and how much she wants to find Stefan, and he loves her too much to tell her he's not getting involved and walking away.
Elena is dead set on finding Stefan, but when Damon's life is threatened, she abandons her search. In other words, for the first time, she chooses Damon's life over Stefan. When Damon returns, Elena gets out of the car and already seems to fear the worst. She is incredibly relieved when he confirms he is 'bite-free', and would have probably checked him over had Damon not hustled her into the car: 'Can wewe give me a dakika to appreciate the fact that you're not dead?'
The ending has a few parallels to 2x01 and 2x08: ('I was wrong,' Damon tells her, which is the title of the song that was playing in the 'I upendo wewe Elena' scene in 2x08. Elena cautiously asks 'Are wewe drunk?' similar to what she says in 2x01, 'Have wewe been drinking?') In a lot of ways, 3x02 is the scene 2x01 should have been, and parallels the end scene in 2x08 without the necklace, and Damon compelling her to forget. It also takes place in Elena's room, and begins with her walking in and finding him waiting for her there.
'You were so hell-bent on staying on that mountain, and then wewe just gave up. So what changed your mind?'
Elena doesn't give the real reason straight away kwa saying 'I was concerned about your safety.' Instead, she dithers for a bit, and makes it sound like it was a practical, logical choice rather than a personal one; 'We were under attack.' But Damon isn't buying it. They were prepared, and Alaric was wearing his ring. 'You could have kept going.' Once again, Elena stays with the 'dangerous' reason, but Damon won't let the subject drop. I believe that he already knows why Elena abandoned her pursuit of Stefan, but he wants to hear her say it.
'I didn't want wewe to get hurt, OK? I was...worried about you.' Oddly enough, Damon doesn't take this as his cue to push Elena into revealing any zaidi of her feelings for him as he might have once upon a time. He seems content with that, says thank wewe and is about to leave when Elena blurts out 'Yes, I worry about you. Why do wewe even have to hear me say it?'
'Because when I drag my brother from the edge and deliver him back to you, I want wewe to remember the things wewe felt while he was gone,' Damon tells her. This was a truly spine-tingling moment when I caught my breath because it looked like he was about to kiss her - and Elena was going to kiss him back, even if it was only for a moment. When Damon is going downstairs, Alaric shows up and asks her if she knows what she's doing. She doesn't. For once, she's not in control of her emotions, au Damon au herself. There's no doubt about it: Delena are soooo on.

I have this strange feeling that after Damon realizes that Elena has not died died loool ,and that she has become a vampire ,he will keep to the promise which he made stefan and leave mystic falls ,without meeting Elena,i mean think about it the fact that a scene has been created where meredith tells Damon about the vamp blood ect ect has been done for a reason,i dont think he will stay,i mean come on there needs to be a twist its vampire diaries,i dont think elena will wake up remember what damon made her forget and then they meet straight away,i think she will remember and kwa that time he will be ...
