here's the thing while i love SK in the short-run, if we're talking about endgame I'd want someone for him who is just as kind as Elena and will be able to put his needs before hers and etc... Because unless they completely change who Katherine is I don't think she'll ever be good enough for him

I think if Stefan and Katherine ever did get together, Stefan would help her become more.. humane. A little like how Elena brought out the sweet, caring part of Damon. Katherine has good in her, so maybe someone just needs to coax it out.
