'Daredevil': Let's talk about the first season

Marvel has announced that Elodie Yung, who appeared in 

as Jinx, has been cast as Elektra in the upcoming second season of 

Elektra was referenced in the show’s first season, as Matt told Foggy things “didn’t work out” with a certain Greek girl.

Elektra, of course, appeared in the feature film version of 

 and even was given her own spinoff solo film. 

Yung’s casting marks the latest major Marvel character to be introduced in 

’s next season, as Jon Bernthal was previously cast as Frank Castle, the Punisher.
