In the How to read:13 Mr. Ohba says that he did create some complicated formula to Light's lifespan (but that it was so complicated that he forgot xD) but for the rest of the characters were just invented kwa Obata-sensei.

So like wewe said, they're just bila mpangilio numbers. haha ^^
