What classifies as a square image for ikoni contests?

I've had a few submissions for ikoni in the style of this picture, but I don't know whether I'm being too harsh kwa not accepting them. The square border only appears on the foramu posts, not the image itself. What do wewe guys think, is an ikoni like that acceptable in an ikoni contest?

Sure why not? It's zaidi intresting to have diversity than just a bunch of squares. But if you're really that against them then wewe could request the submittees to fix it so they are square and the corners are colored so they can keep the original mduara, duara shape but it'll fill a square.

Yeah I suggested they do that originally. I just didn't want the square ikoni rule to seem unimportant. Thanks for your help, I just really needed a sekunde opinion :)

I would accept it, it takes zaidi effort to come to that round image than a square one, I wouldn't dismiss someone's work for that. It still looks like an ikoni to me, an original one.

White corners. The problem is wewe can't tell when they're in a set of 5 like in the 20 in 20 contest, that's why I wasn't sure.
