I think it has, when i look at other movies from the past and i see one from today it feels like there is no magic.
I Look at the movie Legend and it looks and feels more magical then the ones of today.

The magic in the classics will stay forever, I mean...they didn't change anything, except for making it blu-ray, 3D, etc...but if you mean the Disney today like Disney Channel then totally! Tangled is awesome! But it doesn't have the music and the style of THE legendary classics. That's like comparing Hatsune Miku to Michael Jackson.

Legend was special in its own way, but there were dozens of embarrassingly cheesy movies for every Legend or Princess Bride.
