It's almost too easy, what with Flynn having a cameo in Frozen. I'd preferrably like a story BEFORE Anna discovers the Queen's ice powers, but... I don't really care.

Well, the one that most easily comes to mind is that Flynn is Anna's only friend as a child. He's poor and from the orphanage and they're both lonely. They're friends growing up, and then when the drama with Elsa happens, Flynn is the one to travel with her. I guess you'd have to discount his cameo for this though.
