And how she is one of FEW sorceresses in all of fiction who's motivation is NOT looking conventionally attractive or controlling some guy. She's overweight, but she thinks she's hot the way she is. She doesn't have time for looks either because she wants POWER (like any male villain), and a kingdom she feels is rightfully hers. (A deleted scene reveals that she's Triton's sister, and tried to usurp him.) Her gender is incidental.
