Gaston is both a lame villain and a lame character in general. Nerissa is a BADASS and underrated villain that doesn't get much attention. She's stunning, she's badass, she's classy, she's despicable, she's heartless, she's ruthless, she's determined, she's clever, she's manipulative, she's sexy, and is basically everything you want in a great villainess!

I haven't seen W.I.T.C.H. I agree Gaston is one of the weaker DP villains.

i don't like him as a character but i do think he's a good villain in terms of representation. i pretty much view him as an embodiment of the typical misogynistic man, so it's actually kind of scary because he's a kind of person you see in everyday life and serves as an example of the toxic effects upon society the widespread of typical sexist ideas can have. and it's not just that, it could represent any situation where someone in a position of power or higher regard has corrupted and harmful ideas and how that impacts the function of society around them. idk i might be reading into that more than necessary but that's my take on his purpose
