Hi guys, since I had compare the Phantom of the Opera with Beauty and the Beast earlier on. Here is my comparison on other Disney classic, the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Are wewe ready?
The Phantom of the Opera
Okay, as wewe know that that both stories are also set in France. It deals with 2 physically deformed title characters, however unlike Quasimodo, the Phantom (Erik in the original novel) is actually a madman and his obsessive upendo for Christine who seeks refuge at the Opera House in Paris.
Speaking of poor Erik, he was a combo of Frollo and Quasimodo until the end when Erik felt remorse. Despite that his upendo for Christine Daae!
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The story is the centre a upendo square between Esmeralda, Quasimodo, Pheobus and Frollo. So, wewe will definitely be surprise kwa this after seeing and read both stories!
As mentioned previously, Frollo reminds me a lot of Erik due to their lust and being labelled as a madman. The latter did have some sympathies because he lacks upendo because of his deformity, like Quasimodo due to the fact that they are hermits.
Esmeralda and Christine Daae are known for their kind-heart souls, only the latter was pressured to arrest the man to whom she considered as her teacher and Angel of music.
Out There
So here are my thoughts on both stories, if wewe disagree, what do wewe think?
