Spoilers for s7 episode 4 "The power of three". Just something I had to write down after this episode.
The first face this face saw
Amy has seared onto his heart. She was the first person he met after he had regenerated. Amelia Pond. The girl who waited. For him. For Rory. Amy, the human girl with one moyo that is big enough to upendo both men so much.
He comes always back to her. He will always come back for her. He misses her. When he’s tired of running away he runs back to her, to the Ponds to let them fix him.
They have become a part of his life now, a very big and important part. If they leave one siku and he knows they will then he’s sure his moyo will break. It always does when they leave him au got left behind.
“Some left me, some got left behind and some, not many, but some died.”
The first person his last face saw after his regeneration was Rose Tyler. He really loved her. She had seared onto his hearts like nobody else and they broke when he left her. He still misses her it still hurts him.
But he’s not running away anymore. He has found someone to run to when he can’t kubeba the pain of the guilt and loneliness anymore. The guilt of losing Rose. And Martha and Donna and Sarah Jane. All the people who have moved his hearts.
He knows Amy and Rory have another life. A life without him, an ordinary everyday life. Moreover they have a life with each other. They grow older and he can’t expect them to travel with him forever. Some siku they will become too old and will live their life without him. He will miss them an awful lot. However, until that siku comes he will always run to Amy and Rory before they fade from him.
