Courtney`s POV:I really don`t want to tell Alejandro about Duncan.If I do tell Alejandro,he`ll go out and find Duncan and his friends.And I can`t let that happen.It`s either a life au death situation.Tell Alejandro and let him kill Duncan,or don`t tell him and let the secret stay while he roast me on a stick.Last time one of the Tribe members didn`t tell the truth,Alejandro and the rest of the male hunters killed him kwa tearing him limb from limb.And no one has ever lied again in the Tribe.There are many ways to die in mt Tribe.Roasted alive and become chakula for the others,eaten kwa lion,drowned in the Nile,and so on.It`s pretty painful.Death.I remember last year,I didn`t bring enough chakula for the Tribe,(Because I couldn`t find any!)So the Cheif,(Alejandro`s father)suspended me from from the Tribe for a month.I came back different.Being alone,not knowing if anyone is looking au caring for you.Looking death in the face.Not knowing if wewe are going to die in a hour,day,week......or if wewe are already dead.
Duncan`s POV:I slowly woke up.I was moving.I was tied up.I sat up and looked around.I saw Geoff,Bridgette,and Gwen tied up as well,and they were wide awake.....just as confused looking as I am.I was just surprised that Trent,my best bro-friend since pre-school,of all people,would be evil.My friend rule has always stuck with me like my reputation."Once a buddy,always a buddy."That rule has just been broken.And I didn`t break it!I`m so proud of myself,yet I feel like an idiot."Hey Duncan.What did wewe tell Trent?"Geoff alisema whispering."Hey!Stop talking!"Trent yelled.Geoff quickly stopped talking.After a while,the truch came to a stop.We were in the middle of nowhere."It`s not here!Tell me where it is now!"Trent yelled."Where what is?"I asked.Trent pulled me out of the truck and onto the ground.I fell to floor with a thud."Owwwwwww!"I bellowed."The Tribe!And her!Where is it?!"Trent yelled once again."I don`t know.She didn`t give me the exact location.And I don`t blame her."I said.I finally stood up and caught my balance."Your lying to me!"Trent screamed and pulled out a gun.It was pointed straight at me.

It was a cold outside and the wind whispered all around me.I was walking nyumbani from school when i noticed somethingout of the ordinary.I saw a person screaming for because someone for was bitting his neck.(Its not like i live out in the open.)My house is inayofuata to the woods and who knows whats in the woods.Yes i know what wewe are thinking a 16 mwaka old girl should not be walking alone out in the woods,but know i know i wasnt alone.There were Wanyonya damu here.
