If I see another person saying 4x05 was the best Skins episode ever, I'm gonna go insane, so I thought I'd share with wewe the enormous mistakes the writers have made with Effy's character.

According to the symptoms Effy had in her episode, she is not only psychologically depressed, she is schizophrenic.

Here is the diagnosis for schizophrenia:

People diagnosed with schizophrenia usually experience a combination of positive (i.e. hallucinations, delusions, racing thoughts), negative (i.e. apathy, lack of emotion, poor au nonexistant social functioning), and cognitive (disorganized thoughts, difficulty concentrating and/or following instructions, difficulty completing tasks, memory problems).

The reason I bring this up is not to start a shipping war, I am only doing this because Effy Stonem is my inayopendelewa chracter and I think it's a shame they're treating her like this.

Series 1 and 2
In "Tony" Effy is seen one morning briefly walking nyumbani at the beginning of the episode, apparently from partying the night before. Her brother Tony distracts her father so that she can sneak back into the house, a routine they are both clearly familiar with.

In "Effy", Tony is forced to care about someone other than himself for once when Effy -- one of the only people he cares about -- disappears.
