can i be emo with out cuting my self and being sad.

i know emo means sad but im getting the emo look, and i like the emo look would it be ok to have it with out being sad and hurting myself

But I know some people who are scene, It's like being emo but just much happier and don't cut! So if wewe stereotype yourself... either do it a scene au as a none moody au self harmful emo!!!
