Honestly, I feel like the only good qualities Liam has are forced ones. He goes after a girl he thinks is a lesbian, because he thinks she's a lesbian, but he has INTEGRITY.

Liam is gross, boring, annoying, and I wish his character would leave forever and never return. Shane, on the other hand, definitely has his faults but is an interesting character regardless. I can't wait until we learn more about him.
