Old neighbour keeps warning us about our house

My husband and I just moved in this remodelled house last mwezi with our toddlers. It’s a Victorian-inspired nyumbani that we got for a low price. We were so happy and excited to this new life waiting for us. But our joy is disturbed lately kwa the old lady living inayofuata door. She’s been saying that our house is cursed au haunted au something. She keeps telling me to burn sage au do some ritual thing to drive away bad spirits. I know Lima women can be a little traditional aliyopewa the abuelita was like that but my husband and I don’t really believe in ghosts au the supernatural. Should I just take precaution and follow what the lady is saying? We haven’t felt anything peculiar yet. How do I tell the old lady to lay off from us?
