Katherine was sitting on Caroline’s bed, a blood bag in her hand. Her stomach was healed and she was wearing one of Caroline’s tops. When she had finished the bag she gave it back to Caroline.
“Thank you” she said, though it took her quite some effort. They heard a car park. “I think your mother’s home”
Liz had been working really late. Caroline walked to the window and shoved the curtains. “No, it’s not mom” she rotated her head to the bed. “It’s Matt”
Katherine nodded and got up. “Yeah, I need to go nyumbani anyway”
“No, wewe can stay” Caroline said. “I’ll just talk to him outside”
As Katherine sank back on the kitanda Caroline rushed outside.
“What’s going on?” she asked Matt.
“Hello to wewe too” Matt alisema a little annoyed.
Not impressed kwa Matt’s mood Caroline said: “Why are wewe here, Matt? It’s 10.30 pm”
“Your mother told me what happened. She told me wewe were abducted kwa Stefan and some girl named Amber” Matt said.
Caroline crossed her arms and looked away.
“So, it’s true?” Matt asked to make sure.
Caroline averted her face to him. “Yes, Matt, if it makes wewe happy, yes, it’s true”
“Why didn’t wewe tell me?” Matt asked a little hurt.
“What does it matter?” Caroline exclaimed raising her hands. “There’s nothing wewe can do about it”
“I know” Matt alisema soft, taking Caroline’s hands in his. “It’s just…the idea of wewe being there all alone…it breaks my heart”
“Well, wewe don’t have to worry” Caroline said. “Because I wasn’t alone…Tyler was with me”
Matt abruptly let go of Caroline and made a few steps backwards. “I…I have to go” he mumbled and he got back into his car.
Caroline watched him leave, feeling sorry for hurting him. But he’d asked her and she couldn’t lie.
When Matt’s car was out of sight she returned to the house. She went back to the room and saw Katherine had fled.

Dean and Sam were in the waiting room of the hospital, both drinking coffee. There was no way any of them could sleep now.
Kevin and Alexia entered the hospital. They had informed Anna about Cas’ disastrous uigizaji and she had directed them to Sam and Dean.
“Hey” Kevin said. Sam looked up.
“Kevin! What are wewe doing here? I thought wewe were hiding from Crowley” Sam exclaimed hoarse. He was getting tired.
“Yeah, I was, but something came up” Kevin explained. He sat down inayofuata to Sam and Alexia inayofuata to Dean. “We had a little visit from our old friend Cas”
“You know where he is?” Dean asked urgent.
“Not anymore” Kevin commented. “He destroyed the tablets”
“He what?” Sam exclaimed surprised.
“He destroyed the tablets” Alexia repeated. “And then he took off. Anna went out looking for him, but she needs wewe two to get Meg to fess up. Get her to talk”

One week later.
Heather was sitting kwa Meg’s bed. A week had gone kwa and Meg hadn’t opened her eyes once. The doctor had told her she was not in a coma, but just fast asleep. She would live. It was just a matter of time before she woke up.
Cas was less lucky. Someone had tried to kill him again, but fortunately there was a camera in the room and so the doctors could interfere just in time. Heather couldn’t help but wonder if keeping Cas alive wasn’t just extension of execution.
She felt something soft and cold on her arm and she looked down to see Meg’s finger moving.
“Meg?” she said.
Meg’s eyelids moved and slowly, but surely she opened them.
“Welcome back” Heather sighed relieved.
Meg tried to sit up, but Heather gently pushed her down again.
“Careful” she said. “I’ll go get a doctor” She hurried to the door and walked outside to call a doctor.
