Let me take wewe back to July 2007, about 2 years ago. Well it was a monday morning during the summer holiday's. I'm standing in my local comic book duka "House of Heroes" taking a look at some of the comic books. Then I noticed my good friend Benji, who used to work there on mondays, he was on his laptop, browsing the web on a very "green" looking website. This was not the first time I had seen this website, as Benji's friend, PkmntrainerJ, was in the duka one siku using Benji's laptop. Anyway I stand behind Benji and I think he was doing something on the "Lost" spot, I don't remember. Anyway, I asked him what it was and he alisema something like, "Oh, it's this awesome website called fanpop, theres like, a different spot for whatever wewe like." I then said, "What do wewe mean?" He alisema "Well wewe like Dragonball Z, right? well theres a spot for that." Sure enough, he went on to his profaili page and clicked on the Dragonball Z picture, and.......... THERE IT WAS. Videos, pictures, quizzes, fanpop had it all. So Benji let me create a profaili via his laptop, and thats where it all started.

The profaili page page was'nt much but I loved it.

Yep, back then I was a different person, All bar the picture of Yamcha that I reverted to using once more.

It was great! I went nyumbani that evening thinking about nothing but Fanpop. The inayofuata opportunity I got, I was on the 'net looking at the one message I had got, "benji is a shabiki of you". I was in the maktaba at the time so I had to make the most of my time. I decided to ask pkmntrainerj to help me with my pokemon zumaridi, zamaradi game. Sure enough he sent a message back explaining how to get a deoxys au whatever. So my fanpop journey began. The only problem was I didnt know what to DO on fanpop, so I started out adding DBZ picks, which frieza is cooler? etc. I then learnt from benji that if I uploaded enough content I could be a dedicated shabiki amd then I learnt from J that if people notice me I could be "Fan of the Fortnight". This, obviously intruigued me, an honour system? How amazing. Thats what I dreamed about for awhile, Winning FOTF, Getting a medal, Getting 100 fans. thats what I wanted, but it was a long, long way away.

Not much happened for a while, until I got into Naruto and joined the spot. That could have honestly been the best time of my life. Late nights arguing about what would have been the best fighting team. between 5 people we'd always manage to get about a hundred maoni on one pick within the hour. Those other 4 people know who they are but I'm giving them a shout out.
Coolguy
Hellgirl
Rusty
Deathnote
They were my BFF's and rightly so. no one else stuck in such a close group, It was like we were running the spot at the time. Unfortunatley deathnote alisema she will never be coming on again, I havent heard from hellgirl since this happened, and the other siku I spoke to coolguy for the first time in 3 months.

Something bad then happened, as it does. I thought it would be a great idea to make a spot for New mashabiki because I thought it would be great to help the Newbies in the scary world of fanpop. This was not met with praise. Arguments broke out, back and forths between users, quite frankly it was horrible, but I went through with it anyway. This developed into a long, drawn out argument on the New Users Forums. Is this spot useful au a waste of space? it's not like I asked them au anything, but they came with their point and put it across. well. I'd like to take this time to thank,
Rusty

For sticking up for me and my cause, but I would also like to appologise to,
Debs
Germany
Shadowflame
Snerkie
And anyone else I offended during that period of time. I regret most of the things that were alisema and have learnt a lesson. If I am zaidi considerate of the opposition instead of just mouthing something out, then it will be a lot easier to win the debate, as seen in my most hivi karibuni article. I could have alisema "Screw all of the maarufu people", but that wouldnt work. anyway I got over all of that and I hope everyone else did, I know it happened a long time zamani but I never did appologise.

So after On and offing for months, I think I may have decided to stay on fanpop for good. Many of the Original fanpoppers are leaving because, yes, it is a little boring and people just dont take it seriously anymore, but I'm just going to ride this out no matter what. It's pretty hard to tell whats going to happen with fanpop, I mean all of this new stuff and. I know there are a lot of problems but it will work eventually. New mashabiki keep coming and going and the whole place is like one big InJoke for the big contributers, but It should change as long as fanpop keeps coming up with new stuff.

So my dream, 100 fans, A Meadal, shabiki of the Fortnight. thats making excellent progress, at the time of writing:

Dragonball Z, juu contributor, only Dedicated fan
96 fans, just 4 more!
And as for shabiki of the fortnight, It's still a long way to go. I have never won nor even been entered into FOTFN, I guess I need to post zaidi stuff then I could win.

I will win.

Summary: I'm probably one of longest running users who is still active (My 2 mwaka fannniversary is coming up soon), although not very frequent, I think I'm going to be here for a long damn time.

I'l tell thee what, I'm sick of this!
I'l tell thee what, I'm sick of this!
Anyone notice the severe amount of hate floating round the site lately?

I have. And it sickens me. I've stayed silent in the past. I've tried to treat other users with respect. I've aliyopewa people the benefit of the doubt.

No more.

The amount of 'hate' spots, anti-fan spots, picks insulting other users- people, need I remind wewe that this 'Fan'pop. Look it up in the dictionary. F-A-N. wewe see the word 'anti' au 'hate' anywhere? I hate Smurfs, do wewe see me making an Anti-Smurf spot?
I dislike Smurfs, but do wewe see an Anti-Smurf spot anywhere?

I joined the ranks back in April. I was just a kid then. A noob, is what some would say. Everything was calm at first but after a few months it got rough. When I joined, we had videos, forums, comments, images, links, and soapboxes. Nothing too fancy. But once the picks came in, it was hell. Users swooped in left and right making picks that were bila mpangilio and completely off topic. I didn't know what to do. It was happening so fast. I got scared so I ran. I was a nobody so no one noticed when I left. I started training so that I could come back and I would be ready.

A few weeks later I was back....

Many of my soapboxes focus on me, myself and I. Some of wewe may not enjoy it. Others may find it repetitive. To you, I say, P*** Off. Its cheaper than therapy.

Todays Soapbox contains a little life story:

Be careful of the way wewe treat others- it could be harmful.

Let me elaborate...

I work as a volunteer youth leader in a small community. We meet every 2nd Friday in a local GAA (Gaelic Athletics Association)hall. The club runs for any 12-18 mwaka olds attending secondary school that are living in the surrounding area.

I came up through the ranks of this austere association. I started at 12 as a...

Medal whores are users that use fanpop to get medals, I do upendo getting medali I have to admit although I don't have many.

I have now changed my attitude towards medals, I used to try to get them but know it is becoming less of an interest to me. This is because of medal whores, some make fake accounts, add unnecessary stuff to spots and then rate there contributions themselves. I think it is very unfair on other users and it use to really annoy me - It still does a bit.

Anyway I know this annoys other users too but just think medal whores are sad enough to make fakes just to get a red dot on...

your part of the world I hope wewe all will have a
wonderful time with your families and friends. And that wewe all be salama during the holidays.

Tonight a pick was ilitumwa that started out as a argument but within the saa it had turned in to a brilliant and hilarious conversation between 6 au so bila mpangilio shabiki poppers
We talked of pizza and meeting up and how life on fanpop could be zaidi dramatic than any TV show, in fact, I do believe it was the most bila mpangilio conversation ever and even has a equally bila mpangilio pick created about it kwa miss cinders
link
where the conversation carried on about where to hold this fanpop meeting where we all eat pizza and some of nosemuffin’s muffins.
Sadly we had to turn the conversation to the above pick and other...
