Duplicate picha tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot au not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the neno muhimu department.
Google has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, wewe are able to pakia au link an image into the tafuta bar and you’ll be aliyopewa a orodha of web pages containing your selected image.
(I’m about to walk wewe through the steps. I’ll be using a picture from link)
* First, visit link. (tinyeye.com is also another reverse image tafuta engine, but it doesn’t have fanpop in its database, so don’t bother.)
* Click on the camera ikoni located at the end of the tafuta bar.
---A box will pop up. If wewe have the image saved to your computer, click on the “upload an image” link, and… pakia the image. If it’s easier to get the image URL, get the URL and paste it in the textbox.
*Click tafuta and you’ll be taken to a orodha of results, as Google usually does. In some cases, such as this one, Google will add a word to describe your image.
---In most cases, if the image is already uploaded onto Fanpop, it will be displayed as one of the juu results
*If fanpop doesn’t come up as one of the results,
try erasing Google’s guess and type in “Fanpop”, then click tafuta again.
*By this point, wewe should have your answer.
The juu result will ALWAYS be:
“Fanpop - shabiki klabu for everything. What are wewe a shabiki of?
www.fanpop.com/
Fanpop is a network of shabiki klabu for mashabiki of television, movies, muziki and zaidi to discuss and share photos, videos, news and opinions with fellow fans. 42 images...”
So ignore that.
What wewe need to look for is the results that follow. If wewe don't get any fanpop results, then you’re salama to pakia the image without committing the crime of duplication.
If wewe DO get a fanpop result, make sure wewe follow the link and actually check which spot it was uploaded to. (You wouldn’t want to miss out on your opportunity just because someone uploaded the same image to the bila mpangilio spot 2.5 years zamani au because it’s the thumbnail of some video)
If wewe get zaidi than one fanpop result, then that most likely means that the image has been uploaded to zaidi than one spot, as demonstrated below.
au that the image appears on zaidi than one URL in one single spot, which is completely normal (the spot’s homepage, image page, karatasi za kupamba ukuta page, the page for the image itself, the related picha thumbnail, a pick icon, etc.)
au that a duplicate was added at some point au another.
Here’s to hopes for less duplicate images.
Cheers!

Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were apple pie video there. imewasilishwa kwa Hulu.
link are some picha kwa other fanpopers reporting this.
Hulu's video should NOT be done kwa a webcrawler. (or whatever wewe call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, au dont do it at all.
EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, fanpop isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?
(Another) EDIT: zaidi of this maddness. and in link spot!
Let me tell wewe how I first discovered fanpop. (Just bored so thought I'd write this)
I was on the net looking for pictures. I then came across a site (Which is this one really) and clicked the link.
I never knew what this site was au what and thought it was one of those many sites like twitter and Facebook.
Browsing some zaidi I accidentally landed on someone's profaili page and scrolling down say there were pic's looking like cubes. On juu there were titled 'Clubs'.
I noticed a familiar ikoni of my favourite actor and clicked on it.
It was cool, it was like a website just full of that actors info.
I noticed they had chemsha bongo and took part.
Than I released that wewe had to sign up to record what wewe got right/wrong etc.
Thats when I decided to log on and realised I was SOOO ADDICTED TO IT!
(Hey I don't even spend so0 much time like this on Facebook!)
So that was how I discovered Fanpop-not to dramatic au interesting, but i found my rabbit hole.
Whats yours?
