glelsey To those who are in or near Paris - take care, look after each other, and look out for each other. I do know someone who lives in Paris (a friend of my parents) and thankfully he is okay, but he doesn't live far from the concert hall. So far, he's been marked as "safe" on social networking websites and confirmed on Facebook that he is uninjured, but hasn't said much else about it at that point. I just hope his friends and family are okay. And to think I almost ended up moving to Paris a couple of months ago too. It's just awful this happened at all. There's no justification for it. My thoughts are with those of you who were affected. Take some time to recover (emotionally and physically), and as I said before, make sure you're all looking after each other.

Kragfan1910 In all seriousness, a piece of advice from here in America. We're no strangers to terrorist attacks on our own soil, but not once did we react in a constructive way. I know for a fact that the French government is considering using this as an excuse to ramp up involvement in Syria. If there is anything you can do as a single Citizen, DO NOT LET THEM. If France makes the same mistake we did, you will surely wind up in an endless war, where you will lose lives, you will lose freedom, culture, credibility, and your nation will have nothing to gain from it but war weariness, and more French blood spilled.

May all the victims rest in peace, all my thoughts are for their families. France is bleeding today, touched right in its heart.

I actually wanted to go to Paris to university next year, but hearing this I had to change my mind. If someone is capable of doing such a thing then they are not worthy for calling them humans. I pray for all of the victims and their families and all those poor people who had to live through this madness.
