Ah props. They used to be a way to acknowledge on a peer to peer level that someone has ilitumwa something good. Back in my siku we used to give heshima if someone ilitumwa a good video, au alisema something intelligent but now they're thrown out like...condoms in high schools? *shrugs*

What are props?
heshima are small medali that wewe can give to other users if wewe see them post something good.
eg; User_X posts a good video, User_Y gives User_X a video prop!

How can I give someone a prop?
wewe can give users heshima kwa going to their profaili and clicking on the "Give Props" button, then type them a short message of what wewe appreciated and choose the correct heshima type.

I see other users throwing heshima around, so it should be ok?
If wewe saw those other users jump off a cliff would wewe also do it...if wewe answer yes then the internet may not be a good place for you.

What are some bad examples of heshima giving?
- User_X offers heshima to people that will jiunge a club they created
- User_X offers heshima in a "competition"
- User_X gives heshima in chain letters
- User_X gives heshima because you're their bff


I personally think it would be great if we could get at least 30% (yes, the percentage is shockingly low of how I see heshima being used) of users using heshima correctly. If we got 50% it would be amazing and if we got 100% I think it would be a miracle. So lets just do the best we can in understanding what heshima are for and use them correctly.
