Cammie This thread is now really severly pissing me off. I'm just going to add about 5c worth of comments and then I think i'll remove this from my updates ... well, maybe. Cinders, firstly I have to begin by saying that I like you a lot and respect you and your views. I need to say this before I continue because what I'm about to say next Cinders probably will not like - at least, not agree with. But I really do not understand why you are so worked up over this article. You say that you prefer well-structed arguments but why does this article have to turn into an argument of any kind. This is not the Debate spot and your reasoning here does not mnake any sense to me. W2w wrote an article. You don't agree with some/all of his views. That's perfectly fine and you have every right to express this fact. But I don't think it's necessary to publically and negatively critize his writing and offer to point out the plenty of negatives he has in his piece. For goodness sake, the guy's only put 12 sentences together. How much negativity can there be?! What's really riled me is that now w2w is basically apologizing to YOU for his writing. That's degrading to me and I'm not happy to see that someone is made to seem small. Maybe that wasn't your intent but I believe that this is exactly what has happened here. In short, what you've critized w2w for doing to some users you are now doing. By that I mean, not respecting his opinion and the fact that he has a right to his views. Btw, I'm not taking anyone's side here I just don't like how this is turning out.

x-missmckena-x i guess im one of them that doesnt really like change but it doesnt bother me people were always doing little things like :) :D :S now they just have a clearer more colourful version of them, what bothers me is that you cant put them anywhere in the speech, well as far as i know, and the bubbles havent made my mind up on them yet but tbh i dont really see the point in moaning about it all but mind you sometimes we all need to argue over something, it makes things and topics more fun, if we all agreed it would be well boring! p.s i actually kinda dig this cool guy emote! haha!

marissa I'll admit I was a bit nervos when I first saw the emotes and speech bubbles. But I'm a Fanpop vet... I remember [i]waaay[/i] back, before you could upload photos, get medals, or even give props! But it is growing on me. And I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's still Fanpop, and that's what matters, right? I love this site with or without speech bubbles!

And if so, would you be able to add the pirate and ninja emotes (that is, if you think they're good enough)?

DoctorSpud I agree with you about most of these changes- they're no big deal, but I'm seriously not fond of these emotes. I mean, they're ok, but I think Fanpop users show enough emotion without little faces helping out other people to understand what they're saying.
