Recently fanpop introduced a new feature to our profaili pages:

Eventhough it’s not a very complicated feature, there seem to be quite a few maswali surrounding the caps. This gave me the idea of uandishi this article, answering the most aksed questions. Let me first say that everything I write is based on how I think this new feature works. I’m not one of the fabulous F4, so please correct me if I’m wrong about something.

Everybody knows that there are famous persons. watu mashuhuri which are know worl wide, that appear in TV, in magazines... One of the many places where wewe can find those celebrities, is Fanpop! There are many spots, dedicated to those persons! There for, the users that jiunge those spot are, obviously, mashabiki of those celebrities! But... it seems that that "rule" is no longer respected! For at least two times in a row, i've seen users defamating watu mashuhuri images! And that of course, doesn't let the mashabiki of a certain celeb, happy! It happens mostly in pick where some users attack the image of a...

As most of wewe know, there is a special holding pen for newly-created spots -- the link arena. Spots remain there until:
a) they have a significant amount of links, video & images
b) there are enough mashabiki to deem it maarufu ... au at least raise its status out of the 'geek stuck in the trash can' level.

Often I roam around, looking at these new creations, trying to help out those poor spots that have no videos, links, picks, au picha to their name. But there are still spots there that were born over a mwaka zamani with little to no viungo to make it interesting enough to join.
