Yes! I want the Green back

I like this layout, but it definitely needs to be tweaked. A lot.

IDK. My first instinct is to reject this new layout and say I want the old one back. This is a huge change! But maybe I just need a chance to get used to it.

They won't ever change it, but it will grow on me eventually I am sure.

I've had a chance to acclimate to it and the layout itself is fine. Kind of cool actually. But I detest the way the banners look now. I love to make banners but now...I feel like they've been ruined. My hard work has been graffitied on. :( I really wish they'd rethink that part.

I'll probably get used to it though but PLEASE CHANGE THE BANNERS BACK - I've seen more appealing pieces of mouldy bread.
And I don't like the fact that "picks" (something that was unique to Fanpop) has been changed to the general "polls", whyyy? What's the point?

Oh and please can we have our favourite movies/tv shows etc back on our profile page? Why would you get rid of that? I don't understand.

I like it but it needs a lot of improvement tbh.

I love the new look! But, please bring back all the profile infos ie. my favourite TV shows, Films, Books etc. They really help in deciding whether to add a fan or not!

But they won't. They NEED to change the banner-fade bullshit though. That is just ridiculous.

I cane on and I think I literally felt my heart sink. I don't like being critical of Fanpop, because it's an awesome site, but I honestly immensely dislike the new layout.

Sure, it's more modern looking, but I personally find it more confusing and harder to use. And also, just ugly in some aspects, like the new looks for the banners-the odd black fade and the unnecessary and unattractive writing in the corners of the banner.

PLEASE Fanpop, PLEASE change it back. I started missing the old layout as soon as I saw the new one. And did I mention that it's more confusing and harder to use? Well it is. Please don't ruin Fanpop for me. This site is practically my life. And now it's a lot less appealing, because I find the new layout so odd and confusing.

I don't think they need to change it back, I'm sure I'll get use to this layout eventually, but I agree that it does need a lot of improvement.

I don't think they will, but I hope they at least change the banner and motto thing. Oh and add things we like n our profiles too.

@AninditaS, I'm not talking about not being able to see the banners, I'm talking about the ugly black shadow and huge ugly text that now covers part of them up.

@twilightlover73 Yeah, these are 3 things I want to be changed the way it was before and I'm gonna be fine with the new layout.

I will say that I don't like how there's no updates link on the link bar anymore. It makes Fanpop a lot more difficult to navigate while mobile. Yoo have to go to the homepage then scrool almost all the way down to find them, because of how the modules are set up and since the updates are on the right.

I could always get there by changing the url manually, though.

i'll just have to get used to it, but that dosent mean this is good at ALL. i mean it is more orginized but they should fix it to where you can go to your (or other people's) profiles and see what there into and fix banters/ where you can serch for things inside of a club

And where is the 'Search This Club' area? I went to click on it to find something buried in the catacombs of a larger Spot and I found an ad instead. The filter didn't help at all, it actually got me the opposite of what I was looking for and searching all of Fanpop...raaaaghh I avoid that as much as possible because people don't know how to tag stuff like that right a lot of the time. Might also be why Google somehow finds Blue Jays instead of Robin Williams...-_-'

Why not make the layout optional? You know, just make a button that will let you go back and forth in the times of Fanpop layouts...from the beginning to now...good idea, yes?
