OMG... really hard choice! The show would not be the same with either missing!

I wish neither died! I like Wash so much, but I was so curious about Book's past! So many unanswered questions.

I only pick wash b/c he had a loving wife and was still young. Shepherd seemed like he had made his peace with the galaxy and had lived a full life (though as angie says, there were still a lot of questions about his past!)

I bawled like a baby when I first saw this. The usher gave me weird looks for the rest of the evening

Of course Wash died, Joss doesn't like those happy couples! :p

I love Wash, but it felt like it was his time. Book, on the other hand, we saw very little of in the movie, and his secrets still haven't been revealed. I loved Mr. Universe, but he was a one-off character.

I can't watch the movie because wash died. I love wash, and absolutely love the fact that he was funny and witty. :)

I couldn't believe when he died. There was no, like, build up! I was all relieved that they made it safely and then BAM! Wash died. One second he's fine and the next he's just... gone. It was terrible. I loved Wash. He was my second favorite character. :(

I just watched serenity for the first time and I even knew Wash was going to die but when I saw it i honestly bawled like a baby and I really hardly ever cry during movies. It was just too sad, Wash and Zoe were the cutest couple. :'(

I had heard before watching Serenity what happend to Wash, but it still got to me. Oh My God, I almost wouldn't want to see any more sequels or anything with Wash gone, but I still wonder what happens to the rest of the crew. It will never be as great without Wash.

To me he died at literally the most unexpected moment. It shocked me so much and I've got to say, I have honestly never cried more than I did when he died. Of course my favorite character (and not to mention actor) had to die. I'm honestly still shaken about it... I'm actually having some trouble typing this.

I hope all of 'em would be still alive 8(

Tough choice...but I think Book was ready to die and had long made peace with God. He was definitly going to heaven, and he was probably ready for it, he was old. Wash, however was young and still had so much to live for. Not saying he's not going to heaven (obviously I would never say that!) but he didn't deserve to die so soon and so suddenly, :(

i wish he hadn't died especially after saving everyone, and i didn't want shepherd to die either although they both had something in common they were with the crew since the beginning and fought until they died it was bittersweet.

i seriously went into shock when he got stabbed by that spear!

No one actually but his death really took me by surprise.
