Harry and Ginny have "history" too. We just haven't been aware of it over the years. Even J.K. Rowling made it obvious that Harry and Ginny fit together. By the time they got together, even if it had to end for her safety, I knew it was meant to be that way. But I did pick Hermione and Ron because they do behave that way sooner.
