Elton John has offered his career wisdom to One Direction\'s Harry Styles​, saying that he\'s always on hand to offer him any advice should Harry ask for it.

Harry, who once jumped on the actual tube (shock horror) to attend an Elton gig, could join the ranks of young musicians the legend has mentored - including Tom Odell, Sam Smith, and Ed Sheeran.

Telling the Daily Star that he\'d be happy to offer Harry any advice he asked for, Elton shared: "I\'ve talked to a few of the One Direction boys.​ I\'ve seen Harry a few times who is great and I\'m always on hand to offer him advice.

Adding that he\'s also a big fan of Zayn\'s \'PILLOWTALK\' despite not being *as* close to him as the rest of 1D, he continued: "Zayn has done unbelievably well. I don\'t really know Zayn as well as I know the other four but I think he has released a great pop song.

As for the advice he gave to Ed Sheeran, Elton\'s main two pointers turned out to be pretty good ones: "I don\'t manage him on a day-to-day basis but I\'ve given him two great bits of advice which was to go on tour with Taylor Swift and to release Sing as the first single. He wasn\'t sure about both but I told him if he wanted instant exposure to go with it."

Well, sounds like he\'s got a pretty good track record, then.
