Can anyone tell me why are these "Based On A True" story sinema prove to be inaccurate and that the real event which the movie is based on is not much of anything I.E: The Strangers, Qurantine, etc...

Well BASED on a true story means they just took the general premise of a real life news story and twisted it to make it "cool" for Hollywood. They are almost always never factual.

I kinda thought that also thats true i agree w/you all the way im into some horror but Hollywood i feel profits too much off ppls tradgedies. The Poughkipsie tapes now comes to mind wonder if itll ever come out. i knew about jay Hernandez in Quarentine
