Nina could tell Eddie was in a dark mood, the way his face was in a glare. The muziki was heavy metal, and Nina had to force herself not to cringe every time the muziki played.
    The chakula was delicious, but Nina wasn’t cheered up, mostly.
    A few dakika of eating and Nina noticed that Eddie was looking at her intently, she felt a blush rise to her cheeks as she stared at her plate.
    “Does it bother you?” Eddie asked abruptly, still looking at her.
    “Does what?”
    “Fabian and Joy, I mean wewe guys…liked each other.”
    Nina took a deep breath, as she felt the pang in her chest every time she heard his name. “Of course it bothers me I still lo- I mean like him.”
    She smiled the smile she had practiced in the mirror for weeks for occasions like this but Eddie didn’t buy it.
    “Why don’t wewe say anything?”
    “Because…” Nina closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again. “I don’t want him to know, it would ruin everything, our friendship especially then Joy would have even zaidi reason to hate me, and Patricia might too.”
    Eddie nodded, before a grin came on his face. And for some reason that Nina didn’t know, her moyo started to pound.
    “Well then my lovely Paragon, we have a lot in common don’t we?”
    Nina grinned back as she said, “Yes my Osirion, we do.”

“You didn’t have to walk me to my door Eddie.” Nina alisema flattered.
    Eddie shrugged. “I had to make sure wewe were okay.”
    “Okay, good night.”
    “Good night…Nina.”
    Nina smiled at him before entering her room, and she stood inayofuata to the door until she heard footsteps walking away.
