hujambo guys, this is my first fanfic! Hope wewe enjoy! I tried to stay in character but some of the things House says are very fictional although I believe it's what he truly feels about Cuddy but would never dare to tell her to her face. So that's what I did! This is basically House pouring his moyo out to Cuddy!! Also, wewe should know that the story begins with House and Cuddy after they have broken up after their 2 mwaka long relationship. Enjoy :)

House sat at his dawati checking his emails when Cuddy walked into his office. The sight of her walking into his office never ceased to excite him. It seemed that no matter what she was coming to talk to him about, he would enjoy it. He just loved speaking with her, hearing her voice au her laugh, au just being around her was enough.

Cuddy’s presence in the last mwezi hadn’t been as exciting for him as it used to be since they had broken up. He still wasn’t over her. How could he be? He knew he would always upendo her zaidi than anything. When he heard her telling him gently about how he couldn’t give her what she wanted his moyo just broke at the idea of not being able to give the upendo of his life everything she’s ever wanted. He knew she wanted to get married and he wasn’t sure if he was ready. He had been scared. He still was. But he knew that if he ever got married to anyone it would be Lisa Cuddy.

As Cuddy walked in she gave House a slight smile while she congratulated him on solving his last case. Then she just awkwardly stood there in front of his desk. House knew that there was something else she wanted to say and his eyes wandered down to a piece of paper that she was holding in her hand.
“What’s that?” He asked her quietly.
She looked at him and her face dropped. Whatever it was that she was holding, she clearly wasn’t ready to give it to him.
“It’s from Rachel. She asked me to give it to you.” She replied and she handed him the folded paper. They exchanged a quick glance at each other before she abruptly turned around and left his office before he could see what was on the piece of paper. Cuddy was beginning to hate the glances that her and House had started sharing ever since their break-up. It seemed that every time she looked into his eyes, all she saw was memories of how they used to wake up in each other’s arms and how he always held her so tightly as she fell asleep as though he was scared to ever let go of her.

Cuddy was gone and House opened the folded piece of paper. When he saw what was on it he felt like his moyo had suddenly jumped up into his throat and his eyes were about to explode with tears that he tried so hard to prevent from falling. Rachel had drawn a picture of herself and House holding hands. The title of her crayon drawing alisema “Me and Daddy.” He and Cuddy had dated for just over two years and although he and Rachel didn’t see eye to eye at first, he had grown so fond of her and she of him. He had taught her her first word and had been there when she took her first steps. He’d been right there with her as she had grown up. She was nearly four years old now. House had always disliked small children until Rachel came along. She’d changed a lot about him. His values and beliefs, even the way he thought. Rachel and Cuddy had changed his life around. And now they were gone.

Three Days Later.

Cuddy sat on the sofa in her living room as she worked her way through signing administration papers. It was nearly 11 o’clock and Rachel was asleep and it was raining heavily outside. She jumped as she heard a knock on her front door. She got up to open it, only to see House standing on the other side drenched in rain.
“House! What’s going on? Why are wewe here?” Cuddy asked him, perplexed kwa his presence.
“Can I come in? I really need to tell wewe some stuff that I probably should have told wewe before.” House replied. Cuddy let him inside and they sat down on the sofa together. House turned to look at Cuddy and as he did so, he held her hand in his. As soon as Cuddy felt House’s hand in hers, she pulled away.
“No House. Please don’t do this. We’ve already spoken about everything and I thought we understood each other. Don’t do this, it’s just too hard.” Cuddy alisema as she tried to hold back tears.
You spoke about everything. I just sat there and listened. I didn’t get to tell wewe what I’ve always wanted to tell you. I do understand you, but I just need to tell wewe this.” House begged her with his pleading puppy dog eyes that she hadn’t seen since the first time she had told him she loved him.
“Ok,” was her single reply. She didn’t want to upset him and she figured that she owed him the opportunity to tell her what he felt.
“First of all, I upendo you. I always will and wewe know that. I know that we argue a lot and it seems like sometimes we hate each other but I will always upendo wewe no matter what. wewe can’t forget that ok?” She nodded at his words in acceptance but her eyes were getting misty and her bottom lip began shaking. “You’re the most beautiful woman in the world and probably the smartest too. Sometimes you’re even smarter than me and I hate that but it seems to only make me upendo wewe more. I swear that every time I see wewe my moyo beats a little bit faster. It doesn’t do that for anyone but you. When wewe smile…god…you have no idea how beautiful it is. And I don’t care if you’re ever angry, happy au sad because no matter what…all I ever want to do is hug wewe and tell wewe how much I upendo you. Holding your hand feels right. wewe know? It just feels like it’s supposed to be there. I’ve never loved anyone as much as I upendo wewe and you’ve always always been there for me. You’re my angel.” House alisema these words without looking away from Cuddy’s eyes. He meant them. Those were the first things that came to mind when he thought of her. Cuddy’s face had tear tracks down the sides and she just sat there looking back at him. The two of them sat there for a while, not knowing what to do.
“I…I just…can’t” whispered Cuddy and she looked down because she couldn’t kubeba to look into his eyes any longer and see the pain mixed with love. House sat there and took these words in. It was really over. Did she not believe him? Maybe she did and she was just too scared. They were both scared. House had alisema all he wanted to say and although he was hoping for a different response, he accepted her decision and silently got up to leave. She watched him leave and burst into tears as soon as he shut the front door behind him. She was crying so hard that she was gasping for air. Then she stopped for a sekunde and looked at herself. She was a mess. She wasn’t sure if she had ever cried this hard before and that’s when she realised what House does to her. Cuddy had always been a strong independent woman but without House she was just a crying, vulnerable mess. She needed him and she knew it.

Cuddy quickly got up off the sofa and ran outside. She opened the door and could faintly see House standing in the middle of the road in the pouring rain. He was just standing there. She started to run towards him and called out to him. He turned around to see the woman of his dreams running towards him. Through his tears he smiled. A big smile that reached all the way up to his eyes.

Cuddy collided with House in an embrace that neither of them ever wanted to part from. Finally House felt the comfort of her body inayofuata to his again. Her small tender body against his. They pulled away from the hug and Cuddy stood on her tiptoes to kiss him. He lowered his head to kiss her lips. The two of them opened their mouths to let each other in and when their lips crashed together they were locked in the most passionate of kisses. How he had missed feeling the texture of her soft, sweet tongue massaging itself against his own. The cold rain falling down upon them was nothing compared to the warmth inside their kiss as they continued to explore each other’s mouths even though they both knew each other’s so well. Cuddy’s white pyjama shati had gone see through and House could feel her nipples harden in the cold rain as they pressed themselves against each other in an attempt to be as close as possible.

House slowly pulled away from the kiss and whispered in her ear: “I have something that belongs to you.” He pulled a small box out of his pocket and gently held her hand as he lowered himself down on one knee. The rain was still pouring heavily over the both of them but neither seemed to care au even notice for that matter.
“Will wewe marry me.” House alisema as he looked up into her glistening eyes. Cuddy giggled like a little girl.
“Of course” she replied with the biggest smile he had ever seen in the twenty years he’s known her. She pulled him up and his strong arms held her tight. He would never ever let her go. And she knew that.

(Cuddy stood up, and tried the button again. Letting out her frustration on it, before sitting down again inayofuata to House.)

House: I’m sorry.

Cuddy: I don’t care anymore.

(Cuddy held her head in her hands.)

(House observed her, before popping 2 Vicodin.)

House: Come here.

(House gestured for her to lean on him, and she did. House put his arm around her.)

As I put Rachel to kitanda I take a deep breath and I open a book I try hard not to think about my birthday. The harder I try to put the events from yesterday out of my head the zaidi I hang on to every word and replay every moment.
Mother was a handful as usual and as usual she was able to find fault with everything I did.
I am the "Dean of Medicine", graduated medical school in the juu of my class, and I run a hospital and it is still not enough to earn her respect.
She called me a slut. How could she actually call me....?
Then there is House. wewe were going to stand up for me. wewe felt defensive...

*Authors Note* I really hope that no one has written an makala like this before so if so...I apologize ahead of time. :/
The first ever episodes of House i ever saw were "Under My Skin" and "Both Sides Now." They remain my inayopendelewa episodes and I've seen them zaidi times than any other episode (I often lump them into 1 episode in my mind because I always watch them together).

When I first watched "Both Sides Now" the title seemed obviously manifested in the idea of the patient. The guy's brain hemispheres are fighting so both sides....get it? Haha ha. It was obvious.

But what the title made...

(The kiss scene)

Cuddy is locked away in her office; the baby survived but the mother decides to keep her. Cuddy being the woman that she is thinks it is the mothers right to do this, but is still upset at the outcome of this long and laborious situation.

Packing away the baby clothes she bought into a box, she hears a knock at the door. All the blinds in the room are shut leaving her in a dimly lit room facing her dawati packing the clothes away into a box; to give to the woman before she is discharged.

(Knock-Knock)
