It's not my poem !
Just One
Unknown

One song can spark a moment,
One maua, ua can wake the dream
One mti can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.

One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One nyota can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal

One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey.
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can onyesha wewe care.

One voice can speak with wisdom,
One moyo can know what's true,

One life can make a difference,
wewe see, it's up to you!

 Raven and Sebastian
Raven and Sebastian
Phantomraven
“I will be fine mother,” alisema a 20 mwaka old girl named Raven. “I know, I just wish wewe did not want to songesha out.” alisema her mother. Raven was now moving out to go on the open road, to be a lone soul. “I know wewe do mother,” she said. And with those words, she sets off on the open road. She wanders a trail in the forest. She is wearing a purple Victorian dress with a purple cloak; she stops to get something to eat. She takes out a piece of mkate from her black bag. Then, suddenly, she hears something. She looks around in a panic. “Who is there?” she asks. She hears...

Lol, yes, the title is weird. But anyways, I am sooooo bored right now that I'm typing up bila mpangilio nukuu and mottos that I like. Cause I'm cool like that :P Anyways, here they are...

It may be that your whole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken kwa people who annoy me.

At least you're not being rectally probed kwa aliens.

What if, at this very moment, wewe are living up to your full potential?

The zaidi wewe think about things, the weirder they seem. Take this milk. Why do we drink *cow* milk?? Who was the guy who first looked at a cow...

It's the Journey That's Important
kwa John McLeod

Life, sometimes so wearying
Is worth its weight in gold
The experience of traveling
Lends a wisdom that is old
Beyond our 'living memory'
A softly spoken prayer:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

Ins and outs and ups and downs
Life's road meanders aimlessly?
au so it seems, but somehow
Leads us where we need to be,
And being simply human
We oft swali and compare...
"Is the journey so important
au the getting there?"

And thus it's always been
That swali pondered down the ages
kwa simple men with simple ways
To wise and ancient sages...
How sweet then, quietly knowing
Reaching destination fair:
"It's the journey that's important,
Not the getting there!"

Climb 'Til Your Dream Comes True
kwa Helen Steiner Rice

Often your tasks will be many,
And zaidi than wewe think wewe can do.
Often the road will be rugged
And the hills insurmountable, too.
But always remember,
The hills ahead
Are never as steep as they seem,
And with Faith in your heart
Start upward
And climb 'til wewe reach your dream.
For nothing in life that is worthy
Is ever too hard to achieve
If wewe have the courage to try it,
And wewe have the faith to believe.
For faith is a force that is greater
Than knowledge au power au skill,
And many defeats turn to triumph
If wewe trust in God's wisdom and will.
For faith is a mover of mountains,
There's nothing that God cannot do,
So, start out today with faith in your heart,
And climb 'til your dream comes true!

Dreams
The first siku of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that that lit up her entire being.

She said, "Hi, handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give wewe a hug?" I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course wewe may!" and she gave me a giant squeeze.

"Why are wewe in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked.

She jokingly replied, "I'm here...

It Couldn't Be Done
By Edgar

Somebody alisema that it couldn't be done,
But he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn't," but he would be one
Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it.

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it";
But he took off his kanzu, koti and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he'd begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting au quiddit,
He started to...
