I guess the demigod life starts out pretty much the same for everyone. Somehow, I don’t think my ‘realization’ was quite like everyone else…
I should’ve known something was wrong when my advanced poetry teacher vanished mysteriously, and the hot 20-year old took his place. But at that moment, I, Sienna Andarina was only concerned about graduating my freshman mwaka with the highest honors in my muziki classes, so I could guarantee myself a spot in the senior band. Some people have told me that I should pursue something easier, like all those ‘mediocre’ groups....

I walked into my cabin, yawning. Another night on patrol can really tire a person out. My legs were sore and my mind felt groggy. The sooner this stupid war can end, the better.
