What is a podcast?

I got a podcast from Itunes, im wondering what it is. i synced it to my ipod nano but it doesn't onyesha up..? im so confused

A podcast is basically like a radio onyesha where people talk about a certain subject. They have discussions on a topic like: Disney World, Europe, Harry Potter... anything. As for the syncing, the podcast should automatically go to your iPod. If wewe click on "Music" on your iPod, there should be a section that says "Podcasts" and you'll find it there.
