IU and four-member male vocal group Brown Eyed Soul (Jung Yeop, Naul, Young Jun and Sung Hoon) are dividing and conquering major muziki charts with their new releases.

“Modern Times – Epilogue” is a repackaged version of IU’s third album, and contains two new songs, her self-composed title song, “Friday” and new song “Crayon” (which was featured on her currently airing drama “Beautiful Man”). The album was released on December 20 at noon.

“Fridayy” topped Melon, Olleh Music, Bugs and Genie charts within an saa after its release. The song itself has a swing rhythm and addictive melody; its lyrics straightforwardly express a girl’s fluttering moyo before a date. IU took on uandishi and composing the song, roping in History’s Jang Yi Jeong for a featuring on the song. The muziki video for “Friday” features a kiss scene with juu model Jang Ki Yong.

Brown Eyed Soul released their new song, “You,” on December 19, topping Soribada, Monkey3, Naver muziki and Daum muziki real-time charts the same day, and continuing to keep their number one spot a siku after release.

“You” is an R&B ballad written kwa Brown Eye Soul, and is part of a three-song album, “Thank Your Soul.” It features the strong vocals of Naul and the distinct voices of the other three members.
