According to multiple muziki officials on September 21st, IU is aiming to release a new album this fall marking her return after a mwaka and five months since releasing A maua, ua Bookmark in May 2014.
Although there is currently no confirmed release date, IU is putting the final touches on several songs and is already looking to coordinate her album’s release date. mashabiki can look mbele to her new album even zaidi as this is a release completely being led kwa IU as the leading producer. No other producers have been hired to help her, thus the album will onyesha IU’s true colors as a talented singer-songwriter.
Since her last album release in 2014, IU has appeared in the hit variety-drama Producer as well as featuring in other artists’ singles including HIGH4, Ulala Session, and Seo Taiji. Additionally, she released a special single for mashabiki titled Heart.

Already known for her superb vocal abilities, can Solji successfully pull off the 3-octave note IU is known in her hit track “Good Day”?
The episode aired on June 28th, and revealed Solji imba a variety of songs. As she approached the famous 3-octave note, she belted out the notes and was unable to pull it off, laughing it off before she completed the track with a smile.

“Producer” will end on June 20, and the anticipation for the final episode is rising, as the upendo line involving Joon Mo (Cha Tae Hyun), Seung Chan (Kim Soo Hyun), Ye Jin (Gong Hyo Jin), and Cindy (IU) is quite unpredictable.
Meanwhile, a behind-the-scenes special will air on June 26, a week after “Producer” ends. An affiliate of the drama stated, “The audience will be able see different sides of Kim Soo Hyun, IU, Cha Tae Hyun, and Gong Hyo Jin that weren’t shown in the drama.”
