IU‘s latest album CHAT-SHIRE has been a hit since its release over a week ago, the title track “Twenty Three” taking over the charts with all-kills under its belt.
With the immense positive reaction that the album has received from the public, criticism has also reached it as netizens discuss IU’s choice of lyrics for her song “Zezé” which are supposedly indecent.
Additionally, a netizen on Pann goes further to point out that a photographer pointed out the hidden concept behind IU’s CHAT-SHIRE koti, jacket albums, a lolicon concept. Lolicon is a Japanese term for a “lolita concept” and usually refers to cartoon of very young looking girls who are displayed in sexual situation au poses.

“To start
IU is under moto for a plagiarism makala but zaidi importantly I think wewe should take a look at her lyrics in “Zeze”
The lyrics.”
(Partial lyrics to “Zezé” kwa 1theK and Koreaboo)
Look how your lips smile, like this is so interesting
I can tell kwa that face, you’re a mean one
Ah, even your name is beautiful, I want to keep calling it
What I imagine I can’t say out loud, but so adorable
Stroking sounds with those little fingers
imba of colors and sights in your ticklish voice, yeah
Zezé, climb up the tree
Kiss the leaves
Don’t fool around
Don’t hurt the tree, bad bad
Zezé, climb up the tree
Take the youngest leaf here
Take the only flower
Climb up me
Climb up me
Like a blooming flower,
Look at the two cheeks becoming rosy
You’re very naive, but obviously cunning
wewe seem like a transparent child
Something about wewe is dirty
What’s living inside of you,
There’s no way to know
Above you, there’s a sunshine
But there are faint signs of dark clouds within wewe oh
Zezé, climb up the tree
Kiss the leaves
Don’t fool around
Don’t hurt the tree, bad bad
Zezé, climb up the tree
Take the youngest leaf here
Take the only flower
Climb up me
Climb up me
I want to touch wewe once more
I wait for wewe every day
Come and take it all
I want to call for you
I wait for wewe every day
Even though wewe sneak away,
You’ll come see me again tomorrow night
Zezé, climb up the tree
Kiss the leaves
Don’t fool around
Don’t hurt the tree, bad bad
Zezé, climb up the tree
Take the youngest leaf here
Take the only flower
Climb up me

Capture of interview with IU in which she talks about the track “Zezé,” a track inspired kwa the story My Sweet machungwa, chungwa Tree. He (Zezé) is described as sweet and angelic but at other times cruel. IU says that she finds him both “charming and sexy.” The lyrics for her song is spoken from another character’s view, Minguinho, to Zezé.
My Sweet machungwa, chungwa mti is an autobiographical novel written kwa José Mauro de Vasconcelos about a five-year old Brazilian boy kwa the name of Zezé who is known to be mischievous when left alone at nyumbani while the rest of his family are busy working to support the family. Because of this, his parents and older siblings physically discipline Zezé for his pranks. However, while in school, Zezé is described as an “angel” and with a moyo of gold. The teachers upendo him because he is intelligent. He later finds refuge in a small machungwa, chungwa mti in his family’s new nyumbani following his father getting laid off from work. Zezé can somehow communicate with this mti named Minguinho.
“Above is a picture of IU’s interview.
If you’ve read ‘My Sweet machungwa, chungwa Tree’ wewe would know Zeze is not portrayed in the vitabu the way he is portrayed in this song..
And also, there is controversy over the lyrics of ‘Twenty-Three’ and the lolita description in the photos.”

wewe see in the back of this picha there are 3 vitabu titled, “Leon”, “Delicate”, “Discipline”. Leon as everyone knows has a strong lolita aspect. Delicate in the lolita world means ‘a fragile girl who is easy to seduce sexually’. Discipline in the lolita is when an adult male sexually disciplines a young girl. Isn’t it obvious what they’re trying to do when 3 most cliche words in the lolita world are in her photos?

“This angle and setting is obvious to anyone that knows even a bit about photography. It’s so cliche what her white ujumla, jumla and messy hair is portraying. I haven’t seen the MV for “Twenty Three” but I can say these pictures at least are lolita concept”
