Singer-songwriter Jang Ki Ha was recently asked kwa the media whether the decision for his band to go with its first love-themed album release was influenced kwa his relationship with songstress IU.

Jang Ki Ha and his band, known as Kiha and the Faces, held their showcase on the 15th as they celebrated the release of their fourth studio album. As the frontman is also known to be currently in a relationship with female singer IU, he was asked whether their decision to release a love-themed album was due to her.

In response, Jang Ki Ha revealed that while some of the lyrics written were somewhat influenced kwa his personal experiences, he emphasizes that the lyrics of all ten tracks are fictional as he attempted to portray a universal and basic feelings of love.

He then adds, “In the past, we thought upendo songs were too cheesy, but now we felt ready to do upendo songs written in our own way. We challenged ourselves and made it into an album.”

Kiha and the Faces new album was released on June 16th.

It has just been confirmed that IU will be starring opposite actor Lee Joonki in a new drama.

Entitled "Scarlet Heart", the new drama is the Korean version of a famous Chinese televisheni series, which in turn was based on a book of the same title.

The drama is a romantic ndoto in which a 21st century woman is sent back to a historical time period and is forced to adjust to a comparatively primative lifestyle.

The Chinese version of the drama was immensely maarufu all over Asia, resulting in high anticipation for the Korean version.

According to the Korean media, the new drama starring IU and Lee Joonki is roughly scheduled to air in the sekunde half of 2016, so stay tuned to moonROK for zaidi details on the singer's new drama.

The singer recently posed for the fashion magazine bnt and spoke about what she’s been up to. Solbi released an album as part of VIVIS in September.

With the controversy over IU‘s lyrics of her track “Zezé” and her supposed interpretation over the character, YouTuber Heechulism underwent a reaction video project, inaonyesha her live performance to Americans.

IU‘s agency has released a statement revealing that they have taken action towards malicious commenters as well as those who are spreading composite picha of the singer.
