Singer IU has renewed her contract with a soju (Korean vodka) company. According to Chamisul company, which is a maarufu brand of soju in Korea, the company has closed the deal for renewing IU’s contract on December 17, and released a new poster featuring IU.

IU has been selected as Chamisul’s model at the end of 2014, and she has been participating in various promotional events with Chamisul.

This year, IU will kick off her renewal contract kwa celebrating with her mashabiki at the “Isul-Ro Festival” on December 23 at 5pm, at Hongdae. This event will be a party to celebrate the end of the year, and IU hopes to enjoy the party with her fans.

IU has personally apologized for the controversies surrounding her latest album 'CHAT-SHIRE'. Her bonus track "23" made headlines for allegedly sampling Britney Spears's voice without permission, and quickly afterwards, IU's lyrics for the song "Zeze" received criticism for its connection to 'lolita' themes.

We have some mind blowing news to report. Nation's younger sister IU may be off the market! Dispatch has reported she and musician Chang Kiha (age 33) are currently in a relationship.

The two are alisema to have officially began dating this past March, and Dispatch caught several picha of the two together on dates, which took place mostly at each other's houses. Even with busy schedules, the two are alisema to have made time to meet each other.

It's a bit of surprise, as the two have a large age gap, 11 years to be exact. But the coupe were alisema to have gotten close through talking about music. Chang Kiha is a member of the indie rock band Kiha & The Faces.
