Personally I think that Bella really loves Jacob more than Edward and in the fourth book I think that she will AT LEAST consider leaving Edward for Jacob.

The whole point of the entire love story is Bella/Edward. I love Jacob, but I really wish he would imprint on someone. I sooooo want him to be happy! Just not with Bella! I feel Bella's pain, I'm torn between Jacob and Edward. Edward will always win out though. I'm sorry to all the Jacob fans (that includes myself) but the whole point of the Jacob/Bella episode in book 3 was to strengthen Bella and Edard's bond and to show that audience that their relationship is stronger than any other one Bella could possible have.
PS: I do think that if Jacob imprinted on someone, there would always be a little corner of pain in his mind for Bella, but at least he'd be reltatively happy.

But I picked what I picked because He is less likely to hurt her, but if Edward kisses her and lose control he will hurt her. besides Edward may be nice and cute but he's boring. Jacob is muscular, cute, funny, and fun to be with. so...I'm going with Jacob. But...I do NOT hate Edward, I'm just saying!

First of all, Twilight is supposed to be all Edward & Bella.
Jacob is selfish and pushy.
He knows he's dangerous but doesn't care as long as he gets her.
Edward was at least thinking of her and decided that it would be best for HER if he left so she could live a somewhat normal life. He cares enough to say that no matter who she chooses, he'll always love her; as long as she's happy.
Bella saw Jacob as a brother and that's just disgusting to think of a brother as anything more. If she loved Jacob more, she'd have been able to get over Edward more quikley than she did. She would be second guessing herself on whether it was right or not to be with him.

Edward is very manipulative & controlling , he's got Bella lying to Charlie ever since Twilighjt, He leaves her alone in the woods in New Moon where Victoria would have killed her, lies to her about why they really went to Florida, he tells her that he trusts her but not Jacob when she goes with Jacob on his motorcycle to La Push in Eclipse, but I know he does not. she lets him and his family (primarily Alice) decide for her, she only takes some control when she says she can hold on until Renesme is born in Breaking Dawn 2. Kaure, the housemaid in Breaking Dawn 1 would not have reacted the same way if Bella had chosen Jacob.
