Traffic came to a turtle’s pace when I entered into St Louis. I wondered if me adding one zaidi car to the rush saa mix was throwing the city off a little. Why is it called rush saa when it’s generally slow?

I’m also curious as to how much a population varies from siku to siku – what with people coming and going, driving and flying, birthing and dying, etc. Regardless, if the hospitable citizens of St Louis are hoping to count my head tomorrow, I’ll be gone.

I upendo being on the road. For the past 7 years I’ve been in the back of the bus (which usually travels kwa night) unable to enjoy at length the boring landscapes of America. Of course, boring is a perspective – just an interpretation based on how entertained I am behind the wheel. A flat and barren highway doesn’t bother me so long as the muziki on the radio is equally dull.

I have a loose hatred for the long haul trucker who bullys the road, cramping my lane and overdrawing speed limits. It’s not enough for me to take a license number au flip anyone the bird, but still I “sheesh” when run up on. The rewards of the highway are spotting hip vehicles like this new Ford Hellfire. I’d repent but the sign says no u-turn.

Whenever I end up somewhere – usually a coffee duka – the barista asks what I’m doing in town. Are wewe playing anywhere? They ask. Just with myself I say. Then I say I’m on a cross-country tour of coffee shops to see how many baristas recognize me. So far, it’s been all of them. I’m the new Juan Valdez.

FUN FACT: St Louis is the birthplace of Magician and Saint, Justin Kredible. After he toured with us his career exploded, they made him a saint and renamed the city after him but kept the same spelling. wewe can find him hosting a new onyesha called HubWorld on the HUB Network, which airs this Friday (4pm-EST/1pm-PST). This week the special guest is ME. Somebody please tell my grandmother to tune in. au tape it for her. Tell your grandma to watch too.

"A Beautiful Mess"

You've got the best of both worlds
You're the kind of girl who can take down a man,
And lift him back up again
You are strong but you're needy,
Humble but you're greedy
And based on your body language,
And shoddy cursive I've been reading
Your style is quite selective,
though your mind is rather reckless
Well I guess it just suggests
that this is just what happiness is

Hey, what a beautiful mess this is
It's like picking up trash in dresses

Well it kind of hurts when the kind of words wewe write
Kind of turn themselves into knives
And don't mind my nerve wewe could call it fiction
But I like...

"Song For A Friend"

Well you're magic he said
But don't let it all go to your head
Well I bet if wewe all had it all figured out
Then you'd never get out of bed
No doubt
All the thing's that I've read what he wrote me
Is now sounding like the man I was hoping
To be
Keep on keeping it real
Cause it keeps getting easier indeed
He's the reason that I'm laughing
Even if there's no one else
He said, you've got to upendo yourself

You say, wewe shouldn't mumble when wewe speak
But keep your tongue up in your cheek
And if wewe stumble on to
You better remember that it's humble that wewe seek
You got all the skill wewe need,...

"O. Lover"

What's the worst thing that could happen?
We could change our minds.
That seems to be the hottest topic at this time.
We are sitting around in the meditation, dragging, chasing,
Wonderin?whose holdin?whose got the will to draw the line.

I know you've got something burning up inside,
It's so unhealthy but so good for me, oh!
Said if I didn't know, and if I didn't know, well if I didn't know that wewe loved me would wewe tell me?
Well God only knows our contradiction's to quitting, is a hate to upendo relationship thing.
A moto under wewe is so fulfilling,
I fear there's nothing more.

I'm giving, giving...

EVERYDAY I EAT THIS ------>

And I get it here: link

When people ask me about it, I take a deep breath because talking about it leads to a rant on how much I think it’s awesome. When I’m in a hurry I simply say, “I dunno what it is, but it’s supposed to make my penis grow 2 inches in just 4 weeks.”

In all seriousness, this stuff will make wewe live to be a thousand.

I promise you’ll maoni on this blog when you’re 900 (wishing wewe were dead) asking, “What was in that sh*t?”

Vitamineral Green. Best if stirred with coconut...

"Common Pleasure"

Said will I,
I remember when we used to walk together,
Used to talk together, Go to the park together,
In all of kinds of weather we would share,
This common pleasure, with most of human kinds,
It was a kind of treasure, one I was surely glad to find,
And I got some right here, And I'm okay, I'm okay
You're okay, ha ha, we're okay, ha ha ooha I am alright,
I answered alright, I'm doin' fine, but ohh Bones again are broken,
The upendo is not a token of affection, It's not even a real thing,
It's a word, so don't try to buy it out with a ring,
Cuz it's a verb, to upendo someone, open up and...

"Forecast"

Well I heard that it might be raining kitanda sheets and lover's words
Let's throw out the hotel comforter and hang the 'do not disturb'
Sign me up for the storm
I'll wear my suit for the shower
Cause I'll have wewe to keep me warm in the coldest hour

And when the darkness falls under your hair, there I'll be
And crazy is the forecast all week

Well every kiss, every hug is so light on that touch, delicate like a snowflake
Well I can taste, I can taste, I can taste, I can taste wewe all over my face
And everyone might find it foolish to not be counting on the sun
But your mouth is my umbrella now
Because...

"Bella Luna"

Mystery the moon
A hole in the sky
A Supernatural nightlight
So full but often right
A pair of eyes a closin' one
A chosen child of golden sun
A marble dog that chases cars
To farthest reaches of the beach, pwani and far beyond into the swimming sea of stars

A cosmic samaki they upendo to kiss
They're giving birth to constellation
No riffs and oh no reservation
If they should fall wewe get a wish au dedication
May I suggest wewe get the best
For nothing less than wewe and I
Let's take a chance as this romance is rising over before we lose the lighting
Oh bella bella please
Bella wewe beautiful luna
Oh bella do...

Lizards. The inayopendelewa snack of my cat. I’m tempted to pakia a video of him eating all but the tiny toxic bit, what I make up must be a mjusi large intestine. It’s anything but large – these lizards aren’t dinosaurs, they’re the garden variety. 6, 8 inches max.

The January weather has come back around to the way I upendo it so in San Diego. Our equivalent to winter is wetness and that seems to have all dried up. Warmth becomes us and the lizards emerge to the concrete surfaces, lifting their heads high, gazing directly...
