THE TIME SINK of Twitter is a wonderful place to keep up with your Marafiki and interests. au if wewe prefer, waste your idle time snooping on other people whom wewe don't even know.
Just recently we have seen it used both in a malicious manner, to create and spread the rumour that Johnny Depp is dead, and in a pretty good way, to send a message from space.
As for Depp, he has been the victim of a terrible online hoax that has been used to spread malware.
Graham Cluley, who kwa the looks of things is a bit of a fan, wrote, "Innocent Internet users were fooled kwa the hoax, spreading messages to their online Marafiki that the maarufu film star, who lives in France with his partner Vanessa Paradis, had come to a tragic end at the side of a road in Bordeaux."
The online hoax attempted to lure users to visiting a fake CNN web page that was riddled with bugs and harboured malware. It is difficult to feel sorry for anyone that has been infected while hoping to watch a maarufu movie nyota crash his car, but apparently some virtual rubberneckers will be at nyumbani right now wondering why their computer isn't working. Cluley explains, "Sophos is adding detection of the malware as Troj/Dldr-DB".
We suspect Tom Hanks will take the Cluley role, if this particular story is made into a film.
(what kind of fucking sons of bitches would publish this terrible rumor? i almost started crying kwa the time i read its not true.)
