hujambo everyone, I'm finally back in my club's "articles" page with some new room decor updates! I'll try to be shorter than usual today, just a quick onyesha and tell. To be honest I am not charging my room decor much anymore, nothing radical... Just a few little things here and there. I just feel like there's nothing much I can switch up now, just add some touches. I really upendo the whole vibe my room has now... It's witchy... It's colorful, it reflects my eccentric personality and interests... It's beautiful. As wewe see I haven't changed anything much about my main wall, yet, before krisimasi we were shopping for decorations and I found this string of silver beads, I mean wewe can't even tell that it's meant to be krisimasi decor... And I upendo IT, it crosses my whole ukuta and I have a feeling that it kinda "ties" everything together makes all the objects of whole ukuta decor composition look zaidi matching, zaidi as one whole piece fitting together. โค๏ธ

During the hivi karibuni months I have started doing something about my room's entrance. And I'm amazed kwa how many interesting things wewe can make to hang there. Originally the seashell decor was meant to be hung on the ceiling but apparently trying to put screws au nails in ceiling of an old post Soviet Union apartment block apartment isn't the best idea (unless wewe are doing a full repair)... I still didn't understand the exact reason but there are so many mysterious things about the life in post Soviet Union apartments that it's better to even not to ask about details LOL. Anyway, a while zamani I found some seashells with holes in them in my grandmas home, after a few weeks of thinking about ideas I finally made this decor... I upendo the sea theme of it, the pearls, blue beads and wooden details that looks like those pieces of wood wewe can find in water... ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿš

Those who are into witchcraft will know what it is but I'll tell more. It's believed that kwa hanging a pendant with little bells above the entrance of your nyumbani (or on a doorknob au anywhere near door), can protect your house from evil spirits and bad energy. It's called "Witches bells" I like my method of making those type of pendant, with a little dreamcatcher (mine has pentagram type of web) and different beads, I use beads of certain colors to attract the energies and things each of the colors symbolize. ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Anyway, another thing I wanted to share is my beside table, I'm making an exception again as wewe apparently like to see my decorating style as whole, not only DIYs.

A quite long time zamani I changed the look of corner of the room kwa buying a lovely storage system and getting rid of ugly and messy pile of boxes and other clutter there, now almost all my DIY supplies are inside those storage cabinets. Anyway, I always wanted a proper bedside table, I have one on the other side of the bed, but it's pretty low and wewe can't keep small, decorative items there as the electricity chords from lamp are hanging there. So I only keep a huge pile of vitabu there. The surface of the storage system was pretty soft plastic on metal carcass and I spent many months thinking on how to make it zaidi stable. Finally I took the old tray my mum was keeping on microwave on jikoni and put it on there, it fits perfectly and looks lovely with all those little, witchy things on top.

There wewe can see some figurines of elephants (one of them was a gift from my grandma), my little meditating Buddha, onyx pyramid and glass pyramid with my Zodiac sign. Also my little crystal ball for scrying (blue sandstone, it's the most gorgeous crystal I have ever seen in my life, Google it, it looks like nighttime sky, dark blue with little golden shiny 'stars' inside ๐Ÿ˜), also my light jar (you've seen it already in one of my awali articles, with 2 led candles to put inside it, my 2 fans, blue seashell, string of pretty glass beads, glass candle holder with some small crystals and stones inside (fluorite, citrine, amethyst, blue lace agate and others), those aren't all my crystals, just some I use often, I keep others in my witchcraft supplie chest, also a little cup pad with black stones (I think I knew the exact name of the stone, anyway black ones protect us from negative stuff)

and last but not least, this tiny fake plant (I would upendo if it was real, just certain real plants don't usually have long lives in my home, except for mum's orchids), I know I'm going to sound weird and stupid now, but when I was younger I used to give names to plants, like cactuses and stuff, and wewe know, I read too many shabiki chats in internet maoni and their inside jokes, I would never miss a chance to make a culture based reference, so it's a plant named Robert... ๐Ÿ˜„

And continuing the topic I would also like to onyesha wewe my muziki corner, I upendo this place so much, wewe can see my guitar, gitaa bag with guitar, gitaa inside, ukulele case, and my keyboard covered with white cloth (mum put it there so it wouldn't get too dusty), the reason why I even took this picha was to onyesha wewe my witchy pentagram meza, jedwali cloth, I got it a long while zamani and I absolutely upendo how it adds some brightness to the otherwise boring corner... ๐ŸŽจ
Anyway, hope wewe like my new room decor updates. maoni down below what do wewe think of the whole aesthetic, I think it's pretty witchy and hippie looking (as always I suppose), it just has that creative, eccentric, spiritual and free spirited atmosphere I love. โ˜ฎ๏ธ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŽจ
