I see it every day. It happens around me and there's nothing I au anyone can do for that matter. Insecurity, judgement, bullying and the pressure to look perfect.
I put together some nukuu that may help girls going through a rough time.
"Don't forget who wewe are among the desire to be fake."
Groups at school judge many girls if they don't dedicate their lives to turning plastic, if their not sporting the right hairstyle au clothes, if their face is clear from makeup, if your not the right body shape and if they actually care about school. Most of the girls that waste their time judging others have insecurity problems of their own. So to all the girls that have self-image problems au anything else, don't let these girls and don't let your own mind draw wewe into a life of misery, judgement and pressure. wewe are wewe and wewe are great the way wewe are and believe in yourself ALWAYS.
Beauty is nothing if your not kindhearted, if wewe don't have a dream and if your moyo isn't open to heartache."
The picha we see of watu mashuhuri looking slim and gorgeous drive girls to major lengths to look like them. Trust me it's not worth it. When I was in grade five and six, it was three years ago, I went into a eating disorder. My dream was to be a model and the pictures I saw of Jennifer Hawkins and Miranda Kerr and many others made me swali if I was skinny enough. I was already skinny but saw flaws when I looked at myself and then I was over exercising and under eating, luckily I gained control before I went to far and before ended up in hospital, I realised what I was doing to myself, but I went far enough. I wont go into details. So seriously girls do not stoop that low, whatever wewe look like now is fantastic. upendo who wewe are and live for yourself.
Now, what I alisema in the quote about being kindhearted, having a dream and open to heartache, those three things are important in life. Care for your Marafiki and those wewe may not necessarily hang out with, know where wewe want to go in life and do anything wewe need to do to get there, and for the heartache part. It may not sound very appealing but getting into a relationship and then getting your heartbroken au breaking someone else's heart, even though its not nice, is a big part of growing up and living your life. Its a life experience and wewe learn from your mistakes.
"Let your words into others hearts"
Another thing that is really bad is keeping to many worries and to many of your problems to yourself. Talk to people. Your best friend, your mum, your sister au even a counselor. Voicing a lot of things may be hard, and confiding in Marafiki and relatives may be hardest of all but a counselor is best. They aren't allowed to share what wewe say, so it's sort of like whats alisema in the counselors room stays in the counselors room. Confiding in someone who cares for wewe is the best way to cope with many things. I shouldn't be telling wewe what to do since I don't do it myself but we'll just call me a primary source. Anyways, people depend on wewe so take advantage of them and depend on them too.
"Let the truth be told, there's nothing worse then being named a liar"
The truth in many ways is quite harmful but lies are far worse. Maybe wewe might be lying to help someone but that lie always comes back and bites wewe on the ass. They cause many fights, arguments and a lot of broken friendships and hearts. Whether it's telling the truth in a major situation au kwa giving advice on a outfit au other things like that, anything, always tell the truth. It makes wewe a better person.
NOTE: I'm not pretending to be a expert on advice and what I wrote might be useless but I wrote it because I care and am trying to do what I can. Also because Marafiki and relatives have insecurity's and I'm sick of hearing about girls who hate them selves.
