wewe are Katara,
A character in “Avatar”;
Conjured up kwa your creators,
Brought to life kwa animators,
With a soulful voice* to carry your heart;
So easily wewe became a part
Of teenage’s bubbly, conscious stream
But are wewe nothing zaidi than a dream?
wewe are Katara;
How endearing wewe are:
A little winsome girl
Full of sweet spontaneity,
Caught in life’s emotional swirl,
Yet undying in simple purity….
wewe are Katara,
And wewe have come so far—
From little girl winsome,
To waterbender awesome:
From apprentice to master at age fourteen;
Yet how many lifetimes wewe must’ve seen!
wewe are Katara:-
Born of water,
moyo of fire,
Eyes that shine with moonlight gleam,
Seeing through the Avatar
State, beyond the disorder—
The one wewe desire;
So much zaidi than what may seem….
wewe are Katara!
Yes you, wewe and wewe all are!
All wewe mashabiki who gather here.
Her passion, strength and bravery,
Her special, loving quality
Is what draws wewe all near
And lives in each and every one
Of you, in all your diversity,
Ability and sincerity,
Before wordbender’s work is done.

In the wind again;
I would be shivering,
If not for the warmth of her gaze, but then
I wonder if I’m stirring up the air again
With the wrath
Of a thousand generations
Passing torrentially through me,
Electrifying the path
Of a million neural ramifications
Reverberating in my tiny body
That she unflinchingly
Gently, lovingly
Holds together,
Letting me not fall apart,
With her eyes, tenderly
As the bender she
Is, healing me
With her water
Wearing away patiently
The obstacles in my moyo
Breaking my chains asunder….
Her cheeks are blushing
With the warmth of her upendo again;
Soothing me from the crushing
Pain of self-reproach,
From seeing myself an entity
That none would dare approach;
Intertwining our destiny.
Her gaze melts into tears
To wash away my fears,
Splitting rocks apart
Making clay from stone,
Dissolving it to tears of my own
To free my buried heart.
