This piece was written c1880 in England:

Not that I upendo thy (mobs).., whose dull eyes
See nothing save their unconsider'd woe
Whose minds know nothing, nothing care to know
But that the roar of thy Democritus,
Thy reigns of Terror, thy great Anarchies,
Mirror my wildest passions like the sea
And give my moyo a brother - LIBERTY!
For this sake only do thy dissonant noise
Delight my reserved genius, else might all kings
kwa bloody rout au treacherous cannonades
Rob nations of their inviolate rights
And I yet remain unmoved. And yet and yet
These that die upon the (true) barricades,
I am with them, in these days.

A brilliant tribute to many of the Kings and Queens of England. It includes Empress Maud, King Richard II, Henry IV, Henry V, Henry VIII, Jane Grey, and many, many more. This is one of the best video I have seen in a long time.

Royalty that had been banished au shunned, it varied of where they appeared on the power and succession lines. Often, they had no power, but were distantly in line for the throne. Not often though, did a banished au shunned Royal au Nobel figure, become King/Queen.
