Locke the Echidna is a fictional character from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic vitabu published kwa Archie Comics. He is a member of the Brotherhood of Guardians, and is father of Knuckles the Echidna. Similar to his son, whom he bears a strong resemblance to, Locke is an anthropomorphic, red-furred echidna. Of all the Guardians, Locke is the only one to have changed his attire before reaching old age (for a Guardian). Originally, his outfit consisted of a hooded white vazi and blue boots. Some time during Sonic's Xorda-induced exile in space, Locke switched out his wardrobe. He adopted a zaidi tribal outfit, with brown boots and a ceremonial kilt. He was seen wearing similar style of pants underneath his kilt (in issues 139 to 141). He also has a shield that goes with this set of clothing.

Miles "Tails" Prower (M:XYL) is the Mobius: X Years Later universe counterpart of Mobius Prime's Miles "Tails" Prower. His father was a general in the Kingdom of Acorn, and upon discovering Dr. Ivo Robotnik's planned takeover, was roboticized. Since he was young, Tails has been at the side Sonic, helping him and the Knothole Freedom Fighters defeat Dr. Eggman and other evil forces. Unbeknownst to Tails for many years, he was also destined to become the "Chosen One" kwa the Ancient Walkers to fulfil a prophecy. With guidance from Athair, Tails eventually fulfilled the prophecy and stopped Mammoth Mogul from destroying the multi-verse. Years after all this, Tails settled down with Mina nguchiro and had two children, Skye and Melody, both of whom would later follow in their parents footsteps to become members of the Future Freedom Fighters.
