She is a ferice,determined,and not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
In the movie,Stella finds it hard to be related to her family and thinks she don't fit in because they're all geniuses. Stella is still working on getting used to moving half way across the country cause of her mom's job. Stella thinks her mom ignores her. When Stella is at Mesa High,she makes a speech at the assembly and at the Halloween Bash because of Principal Bernigan's rules and how he treats sports like the only thing that matters. Stella fights for Mel's maji ya limau, lemonade when she sees it's scheduled for removal.
Stella's not afraid to take a stand.
